Nationally-known political analyst, journalist and syndicated columnist, Donna Brazile will talk about changes by the new Administration and the impact on consumers, the real estate industry and American businesses in general, as the spotlight speaker for Real Estate REvive Conference & Expo on March 30.
“My views are more comprehensive on the new Administration and what it means for American business and consumers,” Brazile said to CVAR CEO Mark Epstein.
A veteran political strategist, Brazile is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University, author of “Cooking With Grease: Stirring the Pot in American Politics,” as well as a syndicated columnist, television political commentator, former Vice Chair for Civic Engagement and Voter Participation at the Democratic National Committee (DNC), and former chair of the DNC’s Voting Rights Institute. She served as Interim Chair of the Democratic National Committee until March 1, 2017.
Brazile’s talk is included in admission, still only $19 for the fabulous lineup that includes motivational speaker Terry Watson, host Geoff McIntosh, a legal panel with some of the top legal minds in California real estate, C.A.R.’s Chief Economist Leslie Appleton-Young, FBI cybercrimes expert Michael Sohn in an interview with CRMLS CEO Art Carter, along with dozens of exhibitors, valuable networking opportunities, and an atmosphere that is energetic and fun!
REvive began with Citrus Valley Association of REALTORS® as the sole presenter. Now in its 5th year with 11 associations participating, REvive has grown into a phenomenal event where real estate industry professionals can hear from nationally-recognized speakers about the latest laws, issues and trends in real estate, network and gain knowledge that can help them be successful in their business.
“We are so excited to have such an amazing lineup for what will be a remarkable conference this year,” said Epstein, who’s lead the REvive organizing team since its inception.

FBI Agent to Speak About Real Estate Cyber Crimes
Wire fraud is a growing problem for real estate professionals. A hacker gets into the email account of someone involved in a transaction, gathers enough information to create an accurate-sounding email that defrauds a buyer by emailing instructions to send funds to a fraudulent account.
We are pleased to welcome FBI Supervisory Special Agent Michael Sohn to Real Estate REvive Conference & Expo on March 30, 2017. Sohn, who currently leads a squad at the FBI Los Angeles Field Division responsible for investigating computer and high-technology crimes involving national security matters, will be “interrogated” by CRMLS CEO Art Carter.
Sohn’s investigative experience includes cyber terrorism as well as state-sponsored and criminal cyber intrusion matters. Prior to the FBI, Sohn worked as a Cyber Counterintelligence Officer for the Department of the Army, a Counter Terrorism officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency, a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton and a U.S. Army Officer.
Also at REvive 2017:
C.A.R. Chief Economist Leslie Appleton-Young (left), just named an Inman Influencer of 2017, will give the latest economic forecast for LA, Riverside and San Bernardino counties, and CRMLS CEO Art Carter (right) will discuss cyber crimes with FBI agent Michael Sohn (see above).
The Legal Panel (see video above) brings some of Southern California’s top legal minds to Real Estate REvive:
Ed Estes, a real estate professor, attorney and broker, will moderate the panel of attorneys that includes:
June Barlow, senior vice president and general counsel at California Association of REALTORS®;
Ed Zorn, vice president and general counsel at California Regional Mutliple Listing Service (CRMLS),
and real estate litigator Kelly Neavel, from the prominent Los Angeles firm The Giardinelli Law Group.
Terry Watson is the “aha” guy, who makes people, companies and organizations large and small aware of the conscious and unconscious ways they sabotage their businesses and their lives.
His unique and vibrant presentations are powerful, positive and results based, teaching audiences how to improve relationships with clients and consumers, close transactions more efficiently and work smarter, not harder.
Terry provides effective and easily implementable strategies, giving people the tools they need to get out of their own way, while delivering his message with humor. Terry is also a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), earned from the National Speakers Association.
“The difference between good and great often lies in subtle unconscious things we do to sabotage ourselves.”
Tickets only $19.
